The BCH Margaret C. Ryan Global Health Program offers competency-based global health learning for fellows and residents across disciplines at Boston Children’s Hospital. We prepare clinicians to address child health challenges worldwide by building skills to collaborate and innovate in diverse, locally tailored settings. Trainees pursuing careers in global health are selected through a competitive application process to join these Global Health Pathways, designed to shape tomorrow’s leaders in pediatric global health. Our Global Health Faculty bring expertise from multiple disciplines and global partnerships.

The Pediatric Infectious Diseases (ID) Global Health track is a combined fellowship overlapping with the 2nd and 3rd year of a three-year Pediatric ID Fellowship. This program prepares trainees for careers in childhood infectious disease within the context of global health.



The Maggie Ryan Endowed Fellowship in Global Health supports an early career clinician to have the flexibility and support to respond to urgent global child health needs as they arise.
