Health Systems Strengthening

Through partnerships with Ministries of Health, teaching hospitals, and non-governmental organizations, the Margaret C. Ryan Global Health Program works alongside local institutions to strengthen health systems and improve pediatric care. Our approach is grounded in locally identified priorities and focuses on building the capacity of pediatric clinicians, strengthening health care infrastructure, improving access to essential medical equipment and supplies, and assessing health care delivery systems to identify sustainable opportunities for improvement. Through sustainable and collaborative partnerships, we support locally led solutions that strengthen health systems and contribute to better health outcomes for children.
